The chain, with a location in downtown Halifax, has won Best Steak for time immemorial, and is in no danger of being unseated—sorry CUT, though we love your massive slabs of beef, too—so we’re inducting The Keg into our BoF Hall of Fame and giving this meaty award to them to keep. The Keg Steakhouse was started in BC in 1971 as The Keg & Cleaver, and has now opened in provinces across the country and to a number of US states, with more than 100 locations.
