Kat McCormack acted her way straight to gold with a busy season at Shakespeare by the Sea, including performances in Alice of Wonderland, The Merry Wives of Windsor and Titus Andronicus. And now that the weather is not as hospitable to outdoor theatre, McCormack isn’t planning to hibernate. “I’m actually in the midst of packing right now for a six-month US tour with Mermaid Theatre. We leave tomorrow morning. I’ll be home at the end of March and then I’ll be back in the park for my third season with Shakespeare by the Sea,” says McCormack. “Really, I’m just thankful that Suebie Leblanc decided to get pregnant this year so I had less competition!”
