If Mimi Andriopoulos is the captain of the unsinkable Bearly’s karaoke ship, the loyal, and always entertaining, choir of regulars are its hard working crew. It’s the combination of all of these people that keeps the ship afloat, and the bodies on the dance floor. There’s the weekly (and sassy) version of “Ice Ice Baby” that doesn’t skip a beat, the old reliable rendition of “Common People,” the unfailing spin on Amy Winehouse, that sweet serenade of “Suspicious Minds” and, if we’re there, a hot slice of Meat Loaf. If there were an award for warmest reception at a karaoke joint, Bearly’s would probably win that one, too.
