Silver Winner The Corridor

Bronze Winner Roller Town

It’s been the local movie on everyone’s mind since it went to camera in the spring of 2010 and released in May 2011, a balls-out exploitation drama shot in Halifax and Dartmouth starring genre-god Rutger Hauer as the eponymous vagrant who deals death and justice in a town full of bad guys. Also starring Best Film/TV Actor Glen Matthews, along with Brian Downey and Molly Dunsworth, HWASG won’t ever be referenced in any Tourism Nova Scotia ads, but having blown away audiences internationally, it’s a picture we can be proud of.
