Best Hotel

One of the coolest moments in the past year at the Lord Nelson was when the hotel was taken over by Tusken Raiders. Well, maybe not the whole hotel, but a series of the conference rooms at least. For those who aren’t Star Wars nerds, Tusken Raiders are also known as Sand People. And for those who aren’t nerds at all, the take-over was the first annual Hal-Con on a weekend in October, the science fiction, comics and fantasy conference. (The other 360+ days a year, the Lord Nelson is pretty cool, too.)

Second Runner-up Prince George Hotel
