Whew, this was a close race, with Cha Baa squeaking a win over Talay, which took it last year. Kim Hong Dao and Chitsanupong Prathumma should be thrilled as owners of both Thai palaces, though Cha Baa is the newest, serving since summer 2007. For us, we’re fans of the green curry, the masaman curry and the pad thai, which you just can’t have enough of. We’ve actually feared the splitting of our stomach lining due to an inability to stop eating. I know it sounds gross, but that’s the potency of flavour we’re talking about.
