Venus Pizza has been included amongst the crowd up at Pizza Corner by virtue of geography, which is cool for the late night downtown party scene, but it's also a stalwart part of what goes on down on Barrington Street. A Saturday afternoon ritual for some is to hit Strange Adventures, CD Plus, Random Play and MEC---and maybe Venus Envy for new erotica, because you can't have enough---then settle in front of the big windows at Venus Pizza, order a large shwarma with the works (chicken, lettuce, tomato, pickled beets and lots of garlic sauce) and watch the world go by.
