It’s no big surprise in this town, especially since this choice won last year. But then, why is it when someone asks you and your sweetheart where you met, and it was a bar, you’re ashamed to admit it? OK, forget that. Rather, answer me this: As someone who has never met anyone in a bar except someone I was introduced to by a friend, tell me, what’s the secret? How do you sidle up to someone at a local watering hole to say hello without seeming either slimy or desperate? I guess drinking helps.
