Strange Adventures Comic Bookshop

You know you’re doing something right when Billy Bragg gives you a shout-out at the Marquee and then returns to the store a few years later. In September when the politico singer came to town he visited Strange Adventures once again. He’s a smart man, that Bragg. But owner Calum Johnston says enough about how great the store is, his staff is “interested in finding out more about you and what you like, whether it’s western, horror, mystery or something more whimsical.” As part of the quest to bring words and pictures to the masses, this year Strange Adventures hosted comic artists and graphic novelists at Canzine and Word on the Street. 5262 Sackville, 425-2140
