Best Residential Block

The Hydrostone

Composer Scott Macmillan, who’s lived in his north end home with his family since 1981, agrees with Coast readers who picked the Hydrostone two years in a row. “I have found it a great place to raise our family,” he says. “We’ve seen a lot of coming and going; however, we do feel that people generally look out for each other here.”

1st runner-up: Young Avenue

2nd runner-up: Morris and Hollis
