Best Busker

You have overwhelmingly chosen the drum-based, six-piece performance group Squid as the busker of the year. Formed in the fall of 2000, the group has quickly captured the public’s ear with their highly innovative, rhythm-based shows. While the band has played many venues, it was the Halifax Busker Festival that first brought Squid to a wider audience.
