Runner-up: Zuppa Circus
Neptune was seriously challenged this year by the challenging, innovative work of Zuppa Circus. But it managed to hang on, despite a hit-and-miss season. The company—in the hands of artistic director Ron Ulrich—also gave Halifax a taste of nostalgia with Three’s Company’s Joyce DeWitt, who came to town to star in Dinner with Friends.
