Basia Lukwinski's first solo show got its early inspiration from a life-drawing session and one model in particular. "Life had beat her body down. I started drawing her and I was amazed at how beautiful the lines and the forms and the shapes were coming together. It made me realize there's beauty in anything and everything, especially when it comes to the female form." The Feminine Form showcases Lukwinski's broad range of works from paintings to pottery, works in both clay and bronze and her interest in femininity and body parts. "I like old Grecian statues, where arms...or the head is missing and you leave it to your mind to sort of complete the statue." Take both your mind and body to explore this beauty for yourself.
