ECMA nominees announced

Rose Cousins, Jenn Grant, KINLEY and Ria Mae lead the 2018 pack.

  • Charlottetown's KINLEY picked up four noms for her debut album, Letters Never Sent.
The 2018 East Coast Music Award nominations were announced this morning at Paul O'Regan Hall, featuring performances by Daniel Walker aka Owen Meany's Batting Stance and country teen phenom Makayla Lynn, who had to reschedule a math exam to make it. (Also announced: The Trailer Park Boys' new bar, in the old Seahorse space, will be called Sniggly Wiggly's. Yup.)

The ECMAs will invade Halifax for a five-day, 30th anniversary celebration beginning May 2, with the awards show happening on May 3 at the Scotiabank Centre.
