Carmen Townsend just announced via Twitter that she will be opening for Heart on their ENTIRE tour across Canada. Pretty sweet! They're coming here February 3, in case you've forgotten. I haven't. (and Mel I swear to God I am dropping money off for you tomorrow.) The tour begins January 28 in St. John's and ends February 26 in Vancouver. She's pretty much the ideal woman for this job, in my opinion - her vocals and style with the Shakey Deals make her an ideal pairing with Ann and Nancy. So far 2011 seems to be a good year for Townsend, who just came off a huge Australian tour. Her album Wait and See is due out January 25th.
