The two bands release their split 7inch at Gus' Pub this Friday, November 27 with The Dead Pinkertons and The Nuclear ($6).

“We had talked to Myles Deck and the Fuzz about doing this split for about a year, and From Here to There Records offered to release it for us so it seemed like a no brainer,” says Brent Geikie (Cuban Assassins) “We play with those guys so often and our bands really gel together so we can't think of another Halifax band we'd rather have this split with.”

The Assassins recorded four songs with Rob Corrigan at Sound Market Studios last summer; live off the floor with no overdubs. It was mastered by Ron Bates, making it “sound as loud and heavy as possible,” according to Geikie. Get that wax on your goddamned hifi right away, fool!
