Toronto's Teenanger come riding into Halifax this weekend on a wave of liquor, and you lucky people get to shoot the tube. Teen Anger keep selling out of every tape or record they make ridiculously quickly. But the good news is that they are bringing a new record with them. If you like bluesy garage music that makes you want to shack up with someone who owns a motorcycle and many tattoos, you will be purchasing it. "We'll have our brand new slab of wax available at the show, It's a split 12 LP with Charlie and the Moonhearts from California," says guitarist Jon. "It's quite the deal." Jon, Steve (drums), Melissa (bass) and Chris (vocals) deal with touring and the constant togetherness it brings in the traditional manner: "We get drunk. Seriously, we're together four days a week, we have no lives other than this. After this tour we're gonna go far away from each other for awhile and then finish writing the new record, which will be out debut full length." Teenanger play Gus' Pub on Saturday, May 2 with DCT, Bloodhouse, ECT and some other hack band.
