Look for the yurt this weekend when the Fair Trade Bazaar (May 11 and 12, 10am-5pm) takes over Victoria Park, focussing on globally-conscious shopping and adding yet another awesome element to your Open-City-inspired downtown adventures. Celebrate World Fair Trade Day, and Mother's Day, by shopping in this open air market, that'll feature loads of jewellery, accessories and, of course, unique, eco-friendly textile art from TAMMACHAT Natural Textiles and African Threads, both of which will be showing off new works they’ve collected during their travels to South East Asia and Africa. Better yet, celebrate World Fair Trade Day WITH your mom.
