Lookie lookie, there's a new thrift shop in Plan B.

Just when we thought Plan B Merchants’ Co-op (2180 Gottingen Street, 406-1254) couldn’t fit anymore interesting, perplexing, wacky and beautiful things within its four walls, Second Base Goods slides in with some damn fine duds. The city’s newest thrift shop opened within Plan B last week (hang a left once you’re inside), bringing with it vintage clothing and some sweet hand-dyed jackets that you’ll immediately want to clear out your closet for. It is about that time for some spring cleaning though, am I right? Seriously though, Brendan Anckaert and Daina Tavenier —lucky for us—cleaned out their overflowing closets to create Second Base and share some beauties with the fashionable public. Keep an eye on this collection, the pair will continue to add to it as the season changes. Get to Second Base on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter or by getting happily lost in the labyrinth that is Plan B.
