You’d think we planned this, and perhaps there was a little forethought to all of it. The Nova Scotia chapter of the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (go to ballens for more information) is promoting Buy Local Week from November 26 through December 5, just as The Coast has its Buy Local Halifax guide now on the stands, along with promoting the Buy Local Pledge, where readers are encouraged to go on and pledge to spend $100 this holiday season in locally owned businesses. It’s a perfect storm of local business support. Make it so.

  • Yes, thousands of hours of work and consultation have gone into what’s already assembled
  • Maybe, it really depends on what’s being proposed by the developer
  • I don’t know what the Centre Plan is and do not wish to participate in this poll
