Laura Chenoweth shows again

Posted By on Mon, May 17, 2010 at 4:00 AM

“Being a local clothing designer and using Heroine's space/boutique is an ongoing experiment of how to sell clothes locally---without the crazy retail overhead!” writes Laura Chenoweth, reminding us she’s offering you another chance to check out her clothes, Friday May 21 and Saturday May 22, at Heroine (5775 Charles Street, 420-0328) from 11am-6pm. Expect fresh, new stock; chiffon scarves, floral skirts, white tunics, print jumpers and more, including fabric metreage in organic printed poplin, silk, etc. And props to Chenoweth, who was first runner-up in the Fashion Takes Action Design Forward award, which anoints Canada’s top eco-fashion designers. Visit Chenoweth's website for more info or call her at 405-8881.
