Peddler's Closes for Renovations | Shoptalk | Halifax, Nova Scotia | THE COAST

Feel like a pint at Peddler’s Pub (1880 Granville Street, 423-5033)? Sorry, you’re gonna have to wait awhile. The pub closed down just this morning for a gutting and renovation. General manager Brad Hartlin says he “can’t give any details” about what the renovations will include, but he looked to be pleased about the upcoming changes. Peddler’s regulars will have to find a new drinking hole for the holidays; it won’t be reopened until mid-January, but the same owners just got their liquor licence for new bar and resto Gullabulls (upstairs in Spring Garden Place), so perhaps swing by there for that pint.
