Aigle takes flight

Posted on Fri, Oct 3, 2008 at 4:11 PM

High end outdoor clothing company Aigle (French for eagle), is bringing its homage to America's emblematic symbol for freedom to Halifax. Slotted to open up shop in Hallmark's former locale (5507 Spring Garden) in the upcoming weeks, Aigle will fill one of the many empty buildings in the downtown core. Perhaps the arrival of this international business could tip H&M's hand, as there remains no confirmation whether or not the trendy European fashion hub may land in Halifax.

  • Cast it in bronze and put it where Cornwallis was
  • Burn it ritually for biomass
  • Plant it in every white girl's succulent garden
