Shop Noir: Mills

Posted By on Thu, May 15, 2008 at 3:56 PM

Hollywood's classic film noir period stretched from early 1940s to the late 1950s. Halifax's stylish revival arrives this week in the form of Mills Noir, a customer loyalty program featuring a radio, print, billboard, web and direct mail campaign that will be decorating the city.

"Mills Noir is another way to make sure Mills customers get the royal treatment,” says Mickey MacDonald, the new found owner of Mills. “This loyalty program adds an additional element to emphasize the new Mills brand. I hope it will further inspire others to appreciate the finer points life in this region offers us each and every day.”

Membership is complimentary, just swing by Mills' recently made-over location (5486 Spring Garden) and register with any sales associate or beauty advisor. If you become a member of Mills Noir by June 30 you are automatically entered into a draw to win the Royal Treatment - an exclusive package of gifts, including the following: a shopping spree at Mills valued at $1,000, a relaxing spa treatment at Mudwraps to Manicures, dinner for two at CUT restaurant, an evening at the Lord Nelson Hotel and chauffeur service by Mills’ own Rolls Royce Phantom.

Since 1919, Mills has been locally owned and operated and was founded by brothers, Hugh and Willet Mills. In this past year MacDonald bought the Halifax landmark - he renovated, remodeled and rejuvenated the downtown shop - and it's has never looked so chic.
