The Feed has learned that Tarek Kostek---founder of Tarek's Cafe and Tarek's Cafe 2---and his family, spearheaded by son Corey Clamp, are opening a new licensed eatery at the former location of Rock Island Bistro on Quinpool Road.

308 South by Tarek's (6293 Quinpool Road) carries over the popular dishes from the other cafes---including soups, sandwiches and falafel---but with an added twist: authentic Acadian food. All the dishes will created by chef Peter Wilson.

The new place on Quinpool is scheduled to open on November 6.
