The annual contest received 1,143 submitted wines this year from across the country. The local wineries whose grape yield took the big prizes included Annapolis Highland Vineyards, L’Acadie Vineyards, Blomidon Estate Winery Domaine de Grand Pré and Jost Vineyards.
