Dine out now

Posted By on Wed, Feb 3, 2010 at 4:00 AM

Ongoing until February 11 is the Dine Out program in local restaurants, launched through the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia and in conjunction with Savour Food and Wine Show, taking place at the Halifax Marriot on February 25. What does this mean to you, oh Halifax restaurant frequenter? It means that a passel of local restaurants are offering *prix fixe* three-course meal specials until February 11. For instance, Durty Nelly’s (5221 Sackville Street, 406-7640) and The Armview Restaurant (7156 Chebucto Road, 455-4395) both have one for $25---and the Armview’s is actually running until the end of February. The full list of participating restaurants can be seen here, and the prices are excellent (most in the $35 to $50 range).
