North Preston Trail

Posted By on Tue, Jan 6, 2009 at 3:01 PM

This is an excellent proposal. I don't often get to praise public officials* for forward thinking--- we're all too familiar with streets being dug up for sewers (or whatever) and then repaved, only to be dug up again two weeks later for natural gas lines (or whatever). But here we see a significant cost savings because the two projects---the water main project and trail-- are being piggy-backed.

I've poked around the area (I'm sure, illegally, but what the hell), and can attest to the worthiness of a trail at this locale.

Good work all around!

(*If I have a complaint at all, it's about the crappy map in the staff report.)
