On March 6 I was at Pete's on Dresden Row, and a prettttyyy cute/put-together guy stood behind me. It seems you got impatient and went to grab some chocolate near the checkout, and when you returned to the line you offered me some. :) You said you needed energy, LOL, hence the chocolate. I turned it down and said, “Ugh, actually, I was just thinking on how much I should go for a run this evening.” It's not often that a total stranger just says HEY, how's it going, WANT SOME OF MY CHOCOLATE. So, I hope I run into you again at Pete’s! My name is a character off of *Scooby-Doo* and starts with a D. — I Forget Your Name :(

I was in a rush last year and just wanted a bottle of wine for company coming, and you offered to let me put your purchase on my Air Miles card. You were so incredibly cute and my gaydar kind of went off. I still think of you and how cute and sweet you were.

Hey Batman, was that you on the number 1 bus? I thought I caught your eye and I thought it was you but you turned away. It seemed like maybe you didn't want to see me. I've looked for you, but you seem to be strangely invisible online. I should have talked to you even though you turned away. I'm happily married and at the same time you'll always have a little part of my heart, even since that first day we both had our luggage torn open at YHZ airport security. I miss you. I would love to hear from you. Even just a little hello. — Girl In The Black Dress

I am looking for a man that I had a brief moment with at a New Year's Eve party many years ago. We were at a house party in Bedford where he played the bagpipes. We watched each other all night, or at least I think we did. We were never introduced. He hugged me when he was leaving, asked me to leave with him. I was married, and even though I wanted to, I couldn't leave. I have always thought of you. I'm not married any more. I still think about you. Maybe you still remember me? Many years later? Thought I would try...positive thoughts!

To the tatted man who goes to the university gym: Interesting manner about you and I have to say I’m intrigued. Could have sworn we made prolonged eye contact (maybe I’m reading into it). Next time you’re in you should bump into me at the water fountain. I promise I’ll start the conversation.

I'm generally not one to talk up strangers in grocery store check-out lines, but there was something about our exchange of smiles and gazes around the store that compelled me to check out with you. Watching you shudder, then laugh was the perfect reaction to me describing my art. I shouldn't have let you leave without my number. Here's hoping we'll meet again at our favourite north end grocer.

I never thought I’d meet anyone that I loved like I loved her. I thought that the days of butterflies were long behind me. Never did I expect for you to be the one I wanted to stay up with late at night. Wake up beside. And kiss every day for the rest of my life. If only I could tell you these things, but you’re my best friend.

Dancing to Fleetwood Mac, we chatted about your cool world tattoo and our love of the band and our mutual friend. Bass player is your cousin and I was rockin’ a moustache. Our moment was ruined by a drunk guy, and you had to leave. We should talk again.

It was a Saturday at Pete’s in the afternoon, and I was awkwardly holding a bag of nuts and talking to my friend. You have long red hair and you were wearing a cream-coloured coat. You walked by, and we shared a smile, and a little laugh. I think you’re super-beautiful. I’m the woman with short curly brown hair and glasses.
