I'm generally not one to talk up strangers in grocery store check-out lines, but there was something about our exchange of smiles and gazes around the store that compelled me to check out with you. Watching you shudder, then laugh was the perfect reaction to me describing my art. I shouldn't have let you leave without my number. Here's hoping we'll meet again at our favourite north end grocer.

I want to shout out the driver of the 3 who always stops for people when they’re running to catch his bus. You’ve saved my roommate and I from being late for work numerous times, and I’m sure there are others who can say the same! In all my years of being a Halifax Transit passenger, he’s the only one I’ve seen do this, which is why I’ve named him the best bus driver in HRM. Love!

It was a Saturday at Pete’s in the afternoon, and I was awkwardly holding a bag of nuts and talking to my friend. You have long red hair and you were wearing a cream-coloured coat. You walked by, and we shared a smile, and a little laugh. I think you’re super-beautiful. I’m the woman with short curly brown hair and glasses.

A couple of weeks ago you were walking by Garden Food Bar and smiled at a dorky trans-girl with big glasses and long hair. You were wearing a long jacket and had a beautiful smile. I just wanted to say thank you, you pulled me out of a bit of depression and gave me butterflies in my stomach.
