You were so cute, sharing a sampler with that guy at the Rockbottom...you didn't seem that comfortable, but that may have just made you all the cuter...in case you thought the night was a total waste, you completely made my day by just existing. —The Bay Harbour Bitcher

To the black man carrying a matress into The Trillium on Friday around 1, you are what my dreams are made of. Too bad you likely like girls. —EJL

The beginning of school always reminds me of the first guy I ever fell for. The first time I seen him, that very moment so vividly imprinted in my mind, and I still remember it so perfectly. Ride into class on your skateboard, so casual like you weren't doing anything wrong. That day I knew you'd be mine. I was iffy when we started, I knew you, had to be that hard ass guy, but I loved it. Who knew you'd turn around and sleep with people, when we were doing good. I tried to hide how much it hurt, it killed me. So now every time I start school up again, this empty feeling begins at the bottom of my stomach. But if YOU happen to be reading this, I'd like you to know, the love I had for you is still remembered. So take that, look your new girl in the eyes, and tell her you love her as much as you loved me. —Is my ink still on your chest?

We just recently started seeing each other going on two months now and I can't believe how happy you make me! I was so independent for so long and then you came along and swept me off my feet. You said you wished girls would stare when you walked into the room, I don't know about other girls but I definitely get butterflies and my heart skips a beat when you do. I hope I can get over my own insecurities and throw caution into the wind so they say! —The "I'm rusty at this" girlfriend

To the man who was also doing sprints up the Citadel hill this past week, you're super rad. We were both killing it and bumping into each other the entire way. When we were done I walked by and you gave me a big high five that made my day! I'm always looking for a sprinting buddy, keep your eyes peeled for me again! Lets race! —Sprinting Gal

Thank you to the very generous man in the red Ford pickup that thought he cut me off in the Starbucks Dartmouth Crossing drive thru line (Thursday Aug 29) and paid for my frappuccino. I didn't even realize you cut me off so thank you very much it was very generous of you. Made my day :) —Alicia

To the guy with the brown hair waiting at the bus stop on Barrington Street, next to the Discovery Centre on Wed. August 28th, I want to say thank you!! As I walked by and looked at you, you took your eyes off of your book and gave me a beautiful and big smile for no reason. Thank you so much; I was having a bad day and your genuine smile lifted my spirits and put a smile on my face. I don't expect you to read this; regardless this thank you is out there :) —Very Appreciative Stranger

was downtown last night for dinner with out of town folks and took a stroll afterwards along the harbourwalk and lower water street. magical night! the air was soft and warm, small boats quietly finding their moorings, patio diners laughing over candlelight, lovers of all ages cuddled on benches, toddlers in strollers asleep at last in the fresh air, those magnificent light wrapped trees, the lights of the oil refinery across the water looked like Disneyland...what a wonderful waterfront we have! —good dog walking

Kudos to the bus driver who put a passengers's open pop can in his drink holder rather than making her throw it out. —Number 7 rider

Yesterday I was casually catching a bus into town and chatting to a really nice guy with an open book tattoo on his hand, I then fainted from heat stroke and dehydration and another man called the ambulance for me. Just wanted to say thank you both very much for making sure I was OK and if I could buy either you a coffee sometime to say thanks let me know. —Fainting bus stop girl
