A bit more faith restored in humanity

Posted on Thu, May 2, 2013 at 4:31 PM

During one of our storms this winter, I was taking the bus to my friends place. As I was leaving, I realized I didn't have my SMU student ID. I knew I must have dropped it in the snow on the way there. I figured it was gone for good, buried in the snow. Now, as the snow melted, I didn't think anything of it. It's one thing for someone to see it and walk past it, which I'm positive many people did. It's another to pick it up and put it in the garbage. But some lovely person picked it up and took the time out of their life to mail it directly to my school. It's things like this that can save the world. Thank you, to someone who has a good head on their shoulders. —Grateful Student
