We both used to live in Halifax, and though we never met there, we discovered that we were often times in the same places, spaces and sharing graces left and right. Now we stare out over cliff edges and embankments toward mountains with four paws between us, sniffing out the setting sun. But light still rises in the East, and I will be heading back there soon.
