I thought I knew what I was doing but I was wrong. in the beginning it was harmless, then it became hurtful and in the end...it wasn't even real at all. I think about that night when you brought your umbrella. I really couldn't resist your charm. I always knew I was being played...hence my name for you, Player, even though you thought you were a Sweetheart. We thought alike...or did we? I'm not so sure. Hard to know because we really never talked about those thoughts. I struggled with emotions I tried so hard to keep them under wraps. For you...it was emotionless. I tried to move on and it just never seemed to work out. One thing is for sure, when we were together I had a lot of laughs and lots of fun...that's what it was about...at least 19 examples of fun times. When I want to have a chuckle or smile I will fondly think of the times there was an umbrella, a funny outfit (right down to a pair of bowling shoes), a magic show, some candy and a night putting on the ritz.
