To a bouncer

Posted on Thu, Jul 26, 2012 at 10:54 AM

I was out on a date with my best boy at my favourite club. I ended up getting quite drunk and clumsy and was asked to leave, so we left with no fight. As we were leaving, the bouncer asked me if I knew the boy I was with and if I was okay leaving with him. I said yes and I guess I could have just met him that night and five minutes after we left he could have raped/murdered me, but the fact that the bouncer was even concerned at all, or that the thought that I could be headed for trouble even crossed his mind just blew me away! I'm glad to see some people out there looking out for others and speaking up. Thanks bouncer, you're not all scumbags! —Weak & Sickly
