Great neighbours

Posted on Fri, Feb 4, 2011 at 4:00 AM

Wow! So here I am living in Nova Scotia, without a shovel. LOL. I'm used to living in apartment blocks without the need to do any of my own shovelling, but I moved into a flat last fall and didn't buy a shovel. So far this winter has been grand for the shovel-less. Until the other night. Lo-and-behold, I walk out my door in the morning to go to work (expecting to have to walk through 3-4 foot snow banks), and to my surprise it appears my neighbours actually shovelled a nice walkway to my steps from our shared driveway. So kind! I said I owe you a few beers and I really mean it. Thanks so much! —Very Thankful neighbour in Dartmouth
