Dear Halifax,
I miss you. I love Munich, it's people, it's public transportation system, it's climate, the beer festivals every 6 weeks, it's public transportation system, the proximity to the Alps, the near-complete lack of violence... But when everything's going wrong, and I'm awake at 3am fretting about poverty, unemployment, unpaid wages, imminent homelessness, and how I'm going to manage to put the next meal on the table, all I want is to be at home in Hali, taking refuge in the sound of the ocean against the rocks and the smell of the sea. You have your problems, I know, but I can forgive you most of them, and love you despite them all. I've been to many places, in many countries, and lived in a fair few, but home will always be Halifax.
