American Airlines bailing on Halifax again
I'm considerably less than pleased with American Airlines. Yet again they're bailing on Halifax altogether in January 2017. The last time they dropped YHZ is was for their Halifax-JFK flights (and briefly, Boston) a few years back. US Airways started YHZ-Philadelphia about 5 or 6 years ago, but last year, American bought US Airways and inherited that route. Now we find out that AA is dropping YHZ like a hot potato. Lame.
I, like other Maritimes have a few "AAdvantage" Miles, which I intended to use. Now it looks like I'm going to have to get my sorry bum to Bangor or Portland in order to use them.
