Sick and tired of people coming together very quickly and easily to raise funds, have vigils, and memorial services for something that really has no effect on you personally. Why can't people get this upset about people IN HALIFAX losing their homes because some stupid car dealership wants to expand their fucking parking lot?? why cant people come together to support their brothers and sisters because someone wants to put a landfill in the middle of a beautiful town which will end up destroying the ecosystem?! This is the real world folks. If you want to show some love to strangers, show it to those who are literally in your back yard not 3,100km away.... —love all, not just those social media says needs it
