I read this paper every week and am always amazed on how in this section, the number of bitches are more than double the number of loves. This city (which I love) does have quite a few problems that need attention, but I can't help but wonder how many of these keyboard activists don't do a thing other than feel smug by thinking that complaining does anything to fix the problems they are quick to get on a soapbox about. There are literally hundreds of ways that the problems we face can be tackled; be it donations, volunteering or even attending open forums for communities to address the issues and open the floor to citizens to speak their peace. How about other than running your mouth, you actually play a part? We can all bitch, why be one? —At Least I'm Trying
