PEDESTRIAN LAMENT

Posted on Sat, Jun 20, 2015 at 4:00 AM

I would like to remind drivers that crosswalks do not have to be marked to be a crosswalk. Most intersections are crosswalks, whether or not there are lines. To those who refuse to stop on the Herring Cove Road between Dentith and Drysdale, let me remind you that construction has closed the bus stop and the crosswalk nearest Sussex. Five of you would not allow me to cross, speeding up to pass me. Read your Drivers Manual if you don't agree: Chapter 2 page 42 and I quote: Unmarked crosswalks Every intersection has a crosswalk. Many are unmarked. Drivers must yield to pedestrians at all intersections, whether crosswalks are marked or unmarked. —Pissed pede.
