What the job?

Posted on Mon, Jul 14, 2014 at 9:24 AM

I've had enough! It's been three months since I've been home in Halifax and I can't find a job to save my life. I'm not looking for anything above average, just a decent job to get me through the summer. I have a balanced resume, and I'm smart, reliable, hard working. I would be a great employee! Yet for some reason, no matter how many jobs I apply to, in person or online, how many interviews I attend, I can't land a fucking job! So when I go in to a place that I have interviewed at and I see fucking idiots working, I'm angry. WHY DIDNT YOU HIRE ME? This idiot can't even do their job. Why? WHY? As a perfectly competent, respectable and friendly 19-year-old female, is it so damn hard to find a job in this fucking city?! AND WHY ON EARTH WOULD THEY HIRE *YOU* INSTEAD OF ME? What's wrong with you people? I just need to make some damn money to pay off my damn student loans and my damn rent, for fucks sake! —Unemployed and unhappy
