A suggestion for next year's Gay Pride planners
Today's parade was great except for the unhappy "Emperor" who failed to wave or smile to members of our community and those visiting our city. It was pretty obvious he didn't want to be there given the glare he gave to the "common folk" along the route.
You don't represent a lot of the community and thankfully so. Fundraising is all good but you need to keep your drama and issues out of the spotlight (ie. the drama about taking a flight out west a couple of months ago). If you don't like the position, don't run next election. —A member of the gay community
