To those who tie their dogs up around town

To the person who tied up their beautiful blue eyed collie looking dog up outside the Quinpool grocery store on Tuesday evening, your dog attacked me and left a minor wound on my leg. I was walking by your dog and was not provoking it. Your dog gave no warning (no growling, no teeth baring, etc) that prepared me for their attack, which is pretty common with dogs who need space. I urge you to look into the Yellow Ribbon Project - which warns others about dogs that need space, are not okay with attention and who should be avoided by people whoa re unfamiliar. Also use your common sense, please don't tie up a dog that has issues with being left alone or is scared or violent, in front of a public place. If I were a child or someone with mobility issues, your dog could've really injured me. Please take into consideration your dog's well being and the well being of others who may come into contact with your dog, more closely. —Dog Lover, not Dog Fighter
