We live in a world where some evil "person" or "persons" for lack of a vile enough word entered an elementary school days before Christmas and murdered 9 adults and 18 children.

I'm holding my babies extra tight today and I hope you're all holding the ones you love close too. The world can be a cruel despicable place sometimes and we all love to point out the bad and ugly things. We enjoy discussing them especially here where our spiteful words and scathing remarks are always welcome. Let's all remember not to overlook what is good in life while we are busy searching out the next bitchworthy flaw in the universe.

I have a roof above my head, food in my fridge, family within reach and love in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are always with anyone who is suffering and today are especially with the families in Connecticut who have lost loved ones.

I'm sorry that nothing I can feel is good enough to make a dent in this. I'm sorry that these families feel so alone while the whole world mourns with them. I'm sorry we live in a world where people let other people sink this low. I'm so very sorry. —madeinthe80s
