I cycle. I have cycled in cities with worse traffic in Halifax. But I drive as well as cycle and cyclists in Halifax who are out on the roads around the city at dusk or later with NO LIGHTS are DANGEROUS. I don't care whether you can see where you're going—that's your problem. But if you cycle around the city at night wearing dark clothes with no lights, it is likely that sooner or later a car is going to hit you. I hope that it isn't me! Spend $10 on some lights—it's a cheap way to avoid ending up in hospital! —Night Driver
