Hey young people in the work force: When you schedule a meeting with someone, please make an attempt to be on time. People's schedules are busy, and stopping here there and everywhere on your way is bad form. Things happen, I understand that, but when I schedule a meeting with you and you're late because the line at your local coffee shop was "really long," you really show just how much you have to learn about the professional work force. This advice especially applies if the people you're meeting with actually travel to your office from another location to meet with you and/or you want something from the person you're meeting with. If you actually get your crap together and be where you're supposed to be on time, people will be more likely to work with you, give you what you're asking for and help you make favourable professional network connections. —You're Not Kids Anymore
