Paid NOT Payed
For the love of all that is holy. Why must some of you people insist on spelling it "payed" when, in the context you are using it (to get money) it is supposed to be spelled "paid". I don't care how intelligent your argument is, if you don't know the simple past tense of "to pay" you come across not too bright. I have only recently seen this error surface and for some reason, it's driving me insane. Please just spell it the way it is supposed to be spelled.
FYI- "Payed" has something to do with letting out a rope. —Spell Check
