Your friend getting married? Kiss her ass goodbye!

Posted on Thu, Feb 9, 2012 at 2:04 PM

This bitch goes out to all the married ladies who can't be bothered with their single friends anymore. Have you lost your identity, career and friends now that you won the title of WIFE. I get that you are no longer you--you're a "we". Really, I get it. I guess our friendship isn't worth returning a phone call, now that you have a husband. Who cares about all the times I made you coffee, listened to your troubles; attended your wedding and baby showers and supported you through all your personal and career endeavours. Since tying the knot, you can't even be bothered to return a simple phone call. But you somehow magically update your Facebook page? Every now and then when your hubby is gone away for work and you get bored, you'll stroll on by and expect me to be available. Well you can ringie dingie all you like, you will be getting my voicemail. I won't be making time for you anymore my dear fair weather friend... I'll be off doing single-people things; dancing till dawn, cooking for one, fucking barflies and sewing cat clothes. —You're Gonna Miss Me When You're Divorced
