Walking toward the entrance of a grocery store the other evening my girlfriend and I noticed a black and white cocker spaniel tied up near the entrance. The poor dog was shivering and shaking, and when we approached him/her it was very submissive, almost scared. We gave it a little attention and it perked up and was so gentle and sweet, however still shivering. We went into the store and about 20 minutes later, we came out to see the dog still there shaking. About 15 minutes later we got a text from a friend who was leaving the store saying the dog was no longer there.

Who the fuck leaves any dog, but especially such a small one, out in the cold for THAT long? With no jacket or anything, too. What kind of owner would do that to a pet they're supposed to love? Why don't we leave you out there for 30 minutes and see how much you love it.

You're a terrible person who doesn't deserve such a sweet animal. I'm kicking myself for not taking further action, but I never know how to go about handling these situations. I should have atleast spoke to the customer service desk and perhaps they could announce something over the speakers, but I don't know...

Anyway, I just want to say I hope that sweet little dog takes a big ol' steamy wet shit all over your face tonight while you sleep. —Your Dog is Always Welcome Here
